Post:                      Quality Control Chemist (ref: QC 11)

Responsibility:   Reports to the Quality Control Manager.

·         Routine chemical analysis of raw materials

·         Rheological analysis of flour samples; Evaluation of daily production samples.

·         Daily collation & interpretation of reports and supervision of the chemical laboratory shift operations

·         Assist in analyzing customer observations and benchmark finished products analysis against agreed standards in the company and subsidiaries.

Qualification:

·         BSc/HND in Chemistry or Food Science & Technology. Relevant training course at South Africa Grain Laboratory [SAGL] or similar training centre will be an added advantage.

The Person:

·         A team player, proactive, organized with good interpersonal and analytical skills

·         Practical hands-on knowledge of rheological equipment including Glutomatic system, Farinograph, Extensograph, Alveograph, High performance Liquid Chromatograph [HPLC] & Falling Number.

·         Should be willing to work shifts patterns and travel pan Nigeria to support subsidiary companies when necessary.

Experience:        Minimum of5 years working experience and proficiency in equipment listed above.
