Primary Responsibilities:
Ø Perform accurate translation on trade document and other business communication from Chinese, Japanese, and/ or Korean language to English based on company rules and business processes.
Ø Check the completeness and validity of translated information in the documents based on language knowledge and expertise.
Ø Work with the team to ensure achievement of productivity, quality and services delivery target in a back-office function.
Ø Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) work processes and procedures, company’s policies and codes of conduct.
Reporting: Operations Manager and Team Supervisor
Profile:
Ø A minimum of University degree level or equivalent qualification (e.g B.Sc), or eligible certification from foreign language school in:
· Chinese (Mandarin/ Cantonese)
· Japanese
· Korean
Ø Trade experience in import/ export procedure and trade document, an advantage
Required Skill:
Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all level.
Ø Computer literate (familiar with MS window applications) and other software applications
Ø Detailed and results- oriented
Ø Can work on weekend and on rotation shift basis
Ø Acts quickly and decisively, work well under pressure
Ø Experience in managing and leading teams, an advantage.
